Merry Christmas

Max and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to have a safe holiday.

We will be spending Christmas day over at Betty and Randy’s, their son Randy Jr. and his wife Shelly and their son Jerrith will be there as well as Jackie, Max’s mom. We will enjoy the time spent but will miss our kids and grandkids immensely.

We are slowly getting things ready to travel again. Next week I will get our tire pressures checked on the truck, motorcycle and the trailer and make sure the pressure monitor is working properly. I also need to check the air in the trailer suspension and the pin box. Once we get hooked up and pull the trailer out from its location I can load the bikes on the new carrier we bought, then we should be good to go. We will also have to check every cabinet and drawer and make sure things are ready on the inside. After sitting for three months things had a way of not getting put back exactly where they belonged.

It will be good getting back on the road. Max and I both have a case of hitch itch and are ready to travel. Our restaurant budget will like it also! Sitting in one place and having all of these restaurant choices has stretched our will power as well as waistlines to the limit. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and not rain. We only have about 150 miles to go to Benson Az. where we will be staying for at least 6 to 7 days.  While there we will take some day trips to Saguaro National Park and to Tombstone. We should hopefully be working our way towards and be in the San Antonio Texas area by the last week in Jan.

That’s about it for now

So as always and for this holiday weekend be safe and enjoy the moment.

Merry Christmas!
