Goodbye 2010 Hello 2011

2010 has come and gone. It has been a big year for us. We made the decision to sell our house last December expecting it to take awhile to sell. It sold in January and we were in an apartment in February. We were planning to spend the summers in our travel trailer at a local lake and the winters in an apartment. We wanted to go for about another two years like that, but things change like they always will and it felt like we needed to accelerate our time plan to go full timing in the RV.  The timing of things worked out in our favor and we were able to hit the road in August of 2010.

Change is constant, and adaptability is key in any lifestyle that you choose.  Full timing in a RV is a big change and so far we have adapted well. This last year was both hectic and exciting, and we are looking forward to 2011 to be a little less hectic, but much more exciting.

New Years day Max and I are leaving Phoenix and heading down towards Benson to do some day trips to Tombstone and Saguaro National Park. The high for the day is only going to get to about 50 degrees and only around 40 when we leave. Max will be bundled up pretty good on the motorcycle. I think I will need to make sure that there is plenty of hot chocolate available when ever we make stops.

Here’s to a new year and hoping that it is blessed with health and happiness to everyone.

Happy New Year!
