Grandkids Keeping Us Busy

It is Saturday morning, and we have been here at Spring Lake since Monday. The grand boys have been keeping us hopping.

Blake and I spent some time making him a pen out of a polycarbonate blank.

While we were doing that Max was working with Gage on how to do Sudoku.

He did pretty good with it for awhile then the call of the playground was too much for him.

Both boy’s enjoyed playing in the sand with the other kids.

Then an obstacle course was set up and all the kids from the park participated.

Then we had 18 holes of mini golf.

Then the kids roasted marsh mellows  for smores.DSC_0379

And of course playing with army men.

We also spent about an hour in the pool. All of this was done in one day with all of the other days being similar.

Friday night the kids and us enjoyed pizza and a movie at the lodge building. They were showing Rango. They had seen it before and wanted to see it again.

Saturday will be a full day of activities centered around water sports. It should be another fun filled day.

Grandma and Papaw are pretty tired by the time we get the kids to bed around 11:00 each night. But it is worth it. We will not see them much in the next year or so and want this trip to be memorable for them.

This next week promises to be more of the same. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Enjoy Your Day!
