Relaxing At The Campground

Tuesday we went to moms and I replaced the brakes and rotors all the way around. It was really nice to be able to work on a vehicle, in a garage and on a nice flat smooth surface. Usually I have  gravel and or tree roots jabbing various body parts. It was a straight forward job and I did not even have any left over parts!

Afterwards we visited mom for awhile longer then we headed out to get more supplies. Max stocked up from the health food place, while I stocked up my wine supply from Totally Wine.

Now I am in a dilemma, I have used up all the storage in my wine carriers and we will be heading to California wine country. I know I will want to visit wineries there and purchase a few bottles. I guess that means I will just have to deplete the stock that I just built up. This could be an endless cycle, but a fun one!

Across the street from the Totally Wine store was our favorite Mexican restaurant “Ajo Al’s. We probably went there once a week last year when we were in Phoenix. We figured since it was so close we should probably stop in and make sure they are still our favorite…… They are!

We made it back home and the moon greeted us over the lake. I grabbed the camera and practiced a few night time shots. Here are two of my favorites.

Wednesday we relaxed around the campground and enjoyed a nice fire later in the evening. We are about the only ones here and from a distance we heard the Wild Burro’s braying, then later the Coyotes started howling.

The first pack of Coyotes were probably a half mile away. But then some single Coyotes answered their call and they were only about two camp spots away from us. I have never seen Max move so fast getting into the RV. It was pretty funny. (Of course I was right behind her)

I am not sure if we were being stalked or not but we were definitely surrounded by them. That is about as close as I want to get to them without being able to see them.

Today (Thursday) we are going to relax some more and I am going to fix a big breakfast for a change. Nothing like a big outdoor breakfast. I hope the Coyotes are gone, I will defend my bacon at all cost!

Enjoy Your Day!

The Coyotes knew they could get a good wine with their meal at your place :)
