The temps here in Columbus Texas are starting to drop. It has been hovering right around 88 to 90 degrees for the high. The humidity has dropped a little so being outside is nice. Unfortunately the wind has been strong and we have not been able to put out our awning much for shade. By 3:00 in the afternoon we get enough shade on the door side to sit outside and piddle around.
Maxine is finished up with her deep cleaning project by scrubbing the floors. Even the grout lines were not spared from her brush, it seems the regular mop will not get down in the grooves. She is wearing me out just watching her!
Last weekend, Max made some homemade Taco’s and we watched some football. My Chiefs are pretty pathetic, and it did not take them long to get behind. Back in our old lifestyle I would have been upset and brooded all day. Now I only brood for an hour or so.
This week we started playing around with some crafty type things. Max is learning how to bead and is working on some ornaments and kids necklaces.
I have been making a few pens on my lath, these are 30 caliber bullet bolt action pens.
The Thousand Trails parks usually have a craft sell every week so, we thought we would try to sell some of the stuff there. Hopefully we can break even so we can buy more supplies.
Not much else going on. Just piddling around the campground. Since we will be in the area anyway, we did register for the RV-Dreams Boondocking rally that will be held in Quartsite in February. We think it will be a nice intimate rally and we will be able to meet up with friends we have met since the last rally we went to and get to meet some new ones. It should be a lot of fun.
Enjoy Your Day!

Nice craft work! We saw where you signed up for the RV-Dreams Boondocking Rally. That could be a lot of fun even though we haven't done much boondocking. We will be in Florida until the end of January. Leaving the motorhome in Fernley while we're gone. Who knows we may just show up.Fun to meet old friends and make new ones!
Very cool crafts! Hope the weather continues to cool a bit for you guys!
Good idea doing some crafts. We really wanted to go to the boondocking rally, but will be Workcamping in CA until May 1.
Oh that Maxine showing us all up with her deep cleaning and now her beading. :)
Like your pens as well.
The boondocking rally sounds like fun, but not sure yet if we'll be able to make it.
Those Pens are really nice.
