Mothers Day

We got up early on Sunday morning, and went for a Mothers Day breakfast at IHOP. We wanted to get their before the morning rush. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and then headed back to the campground to spend the day.

In the afternoon I put a pork loin on the grill and slow cooked it for about an hour and a half. I have never cooked one before. It turned out very good and it was big enough that we can have left over’s. We just got our dinner finished up when Dave and Beth and the boys came out to see Max. The grand boy’s each had a carnation to give grandma and a with a hug and a kiss they were off to the playground while we visited. A few minutes later Mike and Cheryl and Emma came out also. It was a little cozy in the trailer but we had a nice visit before they all departed. We had a very nice Mothers Day and hope all the other mothers did too.

Monday was watch baby Emma day and catch up on laundry. For the next three weeks we are watching Emma on Mondays, Thursday and Fridays until school is out and Cheryl has the summer off. Of course grandpa had to take pictures while we were there.

I will bore you with a couple.

A very happy baby and she is a joy to watch. Momma won’t let me take her camping yet, but we are working on her aren’t we Emma!

This week we are hoping we hear from the dealer on our Fifth Wheel. We are beginning to think something is wrong with the trailer. It has been 30 days since we saw it on line at the factory. By our calculation it should have made it to the dealer last week. We envision it sitting in a repair stall all torn apart. I know it is just that we are impatient but at the same time do not want to get a lemon either. It will eventually get here, and everything is going to be crunched into a two week period. Picking up the trailer, exiting the apartment, getting ready to go to Americade in New York on the 4th of June.

Sooner or later this transition period will end and we will be settled. I just hope it is sooner rather than later.
