Dr. Visits and Graduation

This week we have been busy with getting our annual physicals and blood work done. We both did fairly well on all of our tests. Weight is my biggest issue and I need to work on getting it off(again). Easier said than done.

I think losing weight is harder than when I quit smoking 20 some years ago. I have to eat everyday, I did not have to smoke. Hopefully we will get more active this year and I can loose some poundage. There are just too many good restaurants across this country. Open-mouthed smile

After our doctors visits we worked on replacing the couch in the RV with our elliptical machine. It is a tight fit, but we were able to position it so we could use it and bring the slides in without having to move it around. Once we found “our spot” I secured it to the floor so it will not move.

Now we can both use it to help with getting more active. It will really help Max build up her bad knees and to strengthen her leg from her accident last year.

Wednesday night was our oldest son’s graduation from Purdue University’s Fort Wayne Campus. He graduated with distinction and was the top in his class. He graduated with a Computer Engineering degree and will start full time with General Dynamic’s as a Software Engineer next week.

He is a single dad, and is raising 2 boys, plus working full time. Needless to say we are VERY proud of him. This August he is getting married to a wonderful girl that has accepted the boys as her own. This is your year son, enjoy it!
