We spent the majority of Sunday and Monday just relaxing around the fire pit and the cabin and visiting with Kent and Martha. The boys had fun driving grandpa around on the golf cart and poking sticks in the fire. Wheels and fire, what more could little boys ask for!
Sunday night the plan was to sleep in the cabin with the boys. Gage the youngest decided he did not want to sleep in the cabin. He decided to sleep in the camper with grandma. I think a few ghost stories from grandpa may have aided his decision. OOPS!
Martha showed us her new smores making device you use in the microwave. Some things you do not mess with, smores being one of them. It just does not seem right to make them from a nuclear device.

Nuke for 20 to 30 seconds and they are done.
If you can not have a fire this is the next best thing. The fudge striped cookies makes them easy to make. I have to admit they were very good!
Monday evening we took the boys home and visited with David and Beth and heard about their cruise. They had a very good time and enjoyed the experience. Since it was a school night we eventually had to say goodbye. So with hugs and a few tears we said goodbye and headed back to the rig.
Kent and Martha were still up when we got back so we visited with them for awhile before we had to say goodbye to them as well. Thank you Kent and Martha for being such wonderful hosts and allowing us to “Mooch” off of you for a few days. We had a lot of fun and can not wait to have you catch up with us out on the road somewhere.
Tuesday morning we drove over to get a little bit more Emma time. We watched her eat breakfast and then played with her for a little while before we had to say goodbye again. These goodbyes are really hard and it is the toughest part.
We did not get on the road until around 2:00 pm but we only had about a 3 hour drive. We made the trip without any issues and are now currently in Batesville Indiana. We will stay here until Sept 16th, then we will head to Campbellsville Ky for our Amazon jobs.

We might need to get that device. We had a campfire in Hot Springs but we are back in Texas and the whole state is under a burn ban. No campfires in our near future..
Goodbyes are the pitts! It's always hard to say goodbye to friends and family. Luckily this lifestyle allows you to see them much more often.
